the rim or border on this 1993s quarter seems to be wider than most ive seen. and the edge of the reeding rises above the surface on the heads side and might just a hair also on the back and is this a silver quarter? i dont see the two tone on the reeding like non-silver quarters.
The rim is different because that is an impaired proof which escaped a proof set. It does look like a 90% silver proof. If you got that from circulation at face value, it is a nice find.
yes i got it from circulation. i work at a gas station and every once in awhile i get silver or something like this
