Hmmm… 2x2’s would not work for many parts of my collection. I have several Aes Grave, etc. from the early Roman Republic, large stamped bronzes from Carthage, several large coins from Ptolemaic Egypt, several large monies from Ancient China (predating the traditional first coins from Lydia, ca 650 BCE), and some Ancient coinage from early India, among others. None would remotely fit in 2x2’s…
