Sorting through change and found these two:
Can you tell if either is a small date?

    Thanks.

I'm a newbie just like you. I've spent hours staring at 1970 s cents. Looks like large date. But, I'm just a newbie so....

IMG_2069.jpg is absolutely a large date.
IMG_2067.jpg is tougher to see, but I'll bet it is also LD. However, the LIBERTY does look weak, which makes me hesitant to say for sure.

    Copied/ oriented correctly and enlarged.
Neither 9 closes enough to be SD.
    Both large.

If you look at the CURL of the small date of the 9, it will look more CURLED in than the large date. Yours appears to be a large date to me. Just my opinion.

I once went on a Small Date with a girl I briefly knew. I remember the Date, on April 1st.. I took her to a diner where she choked on a Large Date. That was our last Date ever!
