A friend asked me to identify this coin. I only have these two photos. Wondering if there is enough here to identify a date and/or mintmark? anything special about this coin? I told her melt is just over $3 currently for it... Attach15812_20190409_082830.jpg Attach15811_20190409_082826.jpg

It's a Standing Liberty Quarter. The date is totally worn off so melt is the value. They were minted from 1926 to 1930. Yours has stats below the eagle so it's not the 1916.

The 1916 had no stars (Type 1, but the 1917 had Type 1 and Type 2).
And if the coin had no stars it is most likely the 1917 Type 1.
The OP coin is between 1917 and 1930.
