got 20$ in pennies today's and didn't find much since most of the pennies were new 2015's, managed to find two wheats tho.. But I got a couple that I'm not to sure about, since in new into this. But I got a 1998 that looks like a WAM, And also got a 1984 that seems to me missing the L in Liberty. Some angles it looks like there's a half of an L there but it doesn't seem it one up with the other letters and seems to be closer to the rim a normal. And the last one, do,you think it's PMD? Has to be with that much damage, but seems to match the rest of the tone of the coin .
Your 98 is indeed a wide AM (WAM). If you can't tell by looking at the A & the M then also look at the FG at the memorial. It will be much closer to the base of the memorial. Pics from the internet. Wide AM: Close AM:
What's a greaser? Sorry new to all of this. But is it grease on the stamp preventing a full and complete stamp?
The 1st "stamp" should be "die" And here's some info - read up! http://www.doubledimes.com/Grease.html
