Been studying different Morgan’s and recently noticed these marks by the hair that I think are die polish lines. Here are a couple 1893cc Morgan’s that display this. What are your thoughts? Are these typical for this year and mint?

Interesting. They do look like die polishing lines to me, I would assume they were to remove clashes in that area. Apparently this is indicative of VAM-5, although I do not know if it shows up on other VAMs.

It could be big zi'm distracted by the nice die crack through the stars. It could be a die clash. Welcome to CT.

Either die polish or some other die scratches. Either way, they aren’t damage

Some Morgan's have a die clash in that hair vee. It is the ST of trust from the reverse and sometimes just the T. Could be they tried to polish it out
