possible 1943 penny error

    There are steel Cents plated with copper. It was a novelty done outside of the mint years later to fool collectors

    Some of the steelies were dipped in a copper wash to create a fake copper 1943.
    Or what Paddy said in post 21. Just woke up, so I missed it.
