LM, When TPG companies guaranteed to buy their misgraded coins and make the owners whole it made a little sense to have them done. Do they still buy back their mistakes? I don't keep up with them. Today we have fake coins in fake slabs ripping off collectors. So much for the guarantee of being genuine. I carefully worded my request for information. I made no attempt to dissuade folks from doing something I personally disagree with. A strong case could be made that those who like slabs can easily find most coins in slabs. Where they own something special that has not previously been slabbed they may want to pay to have it done. None of that argument is related to my question. Have a great day.

Though I don't have firsthand knowledge, never having had an issue, I think they do still buy back their mistakes, though NGC does not guarantee authenticity on ancients.

Pop one and top pop one can pretty much well name their price. I don’t care what anybody says. It’s a special pedigree in itself.
