I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong place but I just bought a coin on ebay and am wondering if it was a good buy. It is a 1974 New Zealand Day Commemorative Dollar and I paid $2.75 I'm new to this so please let me know what you think.

I started a world silver type collection 1800 to date more than 30 years ago. There are a lot more of these than you might think and most are fairly inexpensive.

I like world silver though the downside is there are very few modern silver coins other than NCLT.

 

Well, silver and gold are not used in actual circulation coins today. But some NCLT silver pieces are issued at face ...
