you are closer than you think Cant get any scans other than what i have already posted but here is my latest purchase these are comems with special prefixes enjoy
Have to agree they are nice but I still say the flower on the Singapore note looks a little lonely LOL Thanks for sharing them with us
The orchid flower on the Singapore note won't be lonely as there is another flower on the Brunei note. These two notes comes in a nice folder with matching serial number. Unfortunately, I do not have one but I only have my collection 555555 pair. Originally, the pair with folder cost $88 SGD but at the open market, may go up as high as $180 SGD.
What sort of price would I be looking at, I am not too bothered about maching serial numbers or any commem folders just the notes themsefs ? I am looking at picking up a singapore $5 & $10 for $15 US plus shipping & I have seen a singapore $20 commem issue for £9.50 with a Brunai commem $20 for £10.50 both plus shipping are these good prices?
absolutely but I must let you know those notes would not be comemoratives. The commemortice pairs come with matching serial numbers and cost an arm and a leg. Sigh: De Orc have you bought the mohurs you were contemplating to buy?
Should have added that as far as I am aware there are two distinct types of the $20 joint issure the Overprinted one which is the pair you buy with matching serial numbers & the general issue version, both versions of the note commemarate the same event Me I am just happy to get the general issue one if I can
come now they are about L200 a piece not too much for a fine collector like you i wil let you know if i come across any decent pieces

Well not a lot one can say about her other than she was one Hell of a strong Lady here is a brief bio Kate Sheppard 1847-1934 The leader and main figurehead of the suffragist movement in New Zealand - the first country in the world to grant universal adult suffrage to men and women equally. Kate was a source of inspiration to suffragist and campaigners for equality between the sexes, both in New Zealand and throughout the world. One of the founding members, in 1885, of the New Zealand Women’s Christian Temperance Union. In 1887, when franchises of the Union were set up around the country, Sheppard was elected the national superintendent of the franchise, Ill-health made it necessary for Sheppard to decline the office of franchise superintendent of the World’s WCTU. She was elected the honorary vice president of the International Council of Women in Toronto in 1909, but was not well enough to attend the conference.
