I don't see an answer for me; I suspect it was because it became a challenge. I'm far more interested in bullion than numismatics, and went to bed Wednesday thinking I wouldn't buy any because they were twice the bullion value. Got up Thursday, and decided to see how difficult it was. Started with Firefox. After about an hour (by which time I had started reading posts here and elsewhere, I tracked down the mint's phone number and started dialing. No luck there either. So I started IE. This was becoming a challenge. Firefox wouldn't even let me bring up the mint's page. IE let me add a set to the cart. Progress! And then my computer locked up. Couldn't even bring up task manager. So I rebooted and tried again. Same thing happened. Rebooted again. By now, I'm getting determined I'm going to get through. I downloaded Chrome, and tried it. Got through, added a set to my cart, and got to the next page. By then I had forgotten that I didn't want to pay that much, and I had forgotten that an alternative strategy was to place three orders (two for one set, and one for three sets) so I could sell some to pay for the ones I kept, and changed my order to be for five sets. 101 phone calls, four hours of hitting refresh on different browsers, and rebooting my computer twice. And I'm still not totally sure why I did it. I'm now trying to decide if I want to keep them all, unopened, sell them all, or find someone who will buy three or four sets and give back one or two sealed sets in change.
