Never seen one! We're hijacking the thread...thanks for sharing. These are truly priceless items. They commemorate a part of our lives and tell part of our story. Actually the fact that it is numbered adds value.

I don't consider it a highjack at all. The thread is about our lucky coin(s) and I'm very glad Sallent shared his with us.

    Very cool @Sallent.

What a great story, @Sallent! No matter how much or how little the token is worth on the open market, I'm sure to you it is priceless :)

Never thought about carrying anything to make me lucky. If I did though, it would probably be something cheap. Still wouldn't know what it would be though.

Maybe I should carry these two coins together with me to always remind me of the positiveness of one of the most powerful souls.

Fascinating post, Curtisimo! I have to be truthful. Yes, I carry a lucky coin. It's not ancient. I'll be celebrating my 9th year this weekend and God willing I'll receive a IX YEAR upgrade.

One of my favorite commemorative coins of the modern era of US commemoratives. I'm curious, do you carry it in a shirt pocket or pant pockets. It looks like it's gotten some interesting toning and wear in a very short time.

I carry this a worn 1900-O Morgan Dollar that my father gave to me over 40 years ago. It's been carried for a long time and it's one of my most cherished possessions.

Not a lucky token, but I do have in my wallet a 2 dollars banknote. Because here in France (especially where I live, far from big cities) an amazing amount of individuals have seldom seen an actual dollar bill, even less so a 2 bucks one, and because it's not the commonest denomination even in the USA, I like to have one with me to show off on occasions.
Quite a bunch of people don't even believe it's the real thing
