Which type of quiz do you prefer?

  1. Please post an image and just tell me what It is and what I'm suppose to see.

  2. I like you to keep me guessing. A clue every once and awhile helps.

Well, I think you are wrong. If I posted the entire coin, you would see that the area opposite the rim in the picture is very weakly struck, and the coin is also weakly struck in the same area on the opposite side. Knowing that it is a 1901-O dime would tell you it's New Orleans. Knowing this could inform the more experienced collector, as these weak strikes were common in New Orleans on dimes during this era, and so were the "rim breaks" as you call them. As I said, not giving everyone all the information that you have isn't fair, and leads people on wild goose chases. You went on the Morgan dollar chase yourself, then there would be a bunch of other posts about Morgan dollars, and then the whole thing derails before we can get at the real issue.

 I'll remind you that the next time you get your eyes pecked out and your wallet emptied by someone more knowledgeable than yourself that LIFE ISN'T FAIR. :bigtears::bigtears::bigtears: Neither am I! :troll: Get accustomed to it, or put me on ignore before I pick out my #4. I'm going to do my best to make interested members think for themselves while I throw every trick :blackeye: and roadblock  I can think of in their path! :D

Your post is a very nice explanation of the way YOU ARE GOING TO RUN YOUR NEXT QUIZ - I'll be waiting to see it. My quizzes deal with the "micro" characteristics on coins. I don't care if you post on them or not.

For those of your ilk who still are not able to understand what I've written above and in the past, that image of a dime (got it on my second guess :p) RIM with BREAKS would have been an excellent quiz for me to post but you wasted it on a pointless (to me) attempt to control how I post. Too bad. :(

Now, I'm done with this thread as my question was answered. See new quiz with an image of the entire coin. :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:
