    A question that will serve to return this thread to page one: The Caesar coin here is getting high praise deservedly for History and Beauty. Would a lesser specimen of the same type get equal Interest marks? It is a well executed elephant die. Would a nice example of the tubby elephant version that sold for less be a better 'value'? We will each have our opinions on such things and that is fine since we will cancel out and each of us will still think we were correct.

    The Caesar coin makes my humble example look like even more of a modest budget purchase than it was so I have to love it. But that gorgeous solidus is not far behind.

    Congrats to both of you for owning such cool coins!!!:woot::woot:

    Hello everyone! This was a great match-up and I thank both of the participants for playing :) below are the final results:

    Results:
    @Cucumbor: 103 (WINNER)
    @Orfew: 57

    The voters gave Orfew the advantage on the Value for Money category while the Eye Appeal and Interest categories were enough to swing the round in Cucumber's favor.

    Well thank you all for your votes
    Thanks a lot @Curtisimo for a big and nice organization

    Congrats to @Orfew : when, in first place, I saw you throwing in a gold solidus I started to sweat a bit, thinking "hmm, that's a good one, and I'd like to have it in my trays"

    It's been a pleasure all around
    Now I'm impatient to play in round 2 :)
