Since the Empire stretched from modern day Syria to India, the King of Kings in Ctesphion appointed a junior Prince to rule the ex: Kushan lands. Hormizd I thus took on that role. Footnote...C. Clovius could be one of the six prefects "pr و fecti Urbi" appointed by Caesar before his departure for Spain in order to fight the Pompeian forces.
