Thanks Ancient Aussie, I am looking at it right now. Almost feels like a fantasy holding a 2300 year old piece of numismatic history in your hands! (while its in a protective saflip holder) Still wondering if I should get it slabbed;) All of us are so lucky to be blessed with this fine hobby.

I would leave it out of slab if I had a coin as beautiful as that, It won't need any extra protection being gold. As you say the pleasure in owning it is to hold in your hands, probably the nicest looking gold coin I have ever seen.

AA came out ahead on eye appeal and the contestants tied for historical interest, though TypeCoin's lead in the bargain category allowed him to walk away from this one the winner. Congratulations to both players for giving us one of my favorite matches of the tournament so far!

@TypeCoin971793 will advance to take on @Jay GT4 in Round 2... stay tuned :)

WTG Typecoin!! Good luck on the next round.

Both coins were very eye appealing to me on this one. Making this category a tough one. The portrait on @Ancient Aussie coin is just outstanding. I hope to get one as nice for my portrait collection. Now @TypeCoin971793 coin is just creepy looking and for this reason I couldn't stop looking at it. In fact I went back several times to look at this coin. Creepy is eye appealing in this case. Strange isn't it?
