On the 5 euro notes at the time, there was a large “5” followed by two stacked words (the word “euro” and also the Greek translation written in the Greek alphabet ), and I added TEURO to the list. If I got a good impression then it looked pretty authentic.</p><p> </p><p>These messages were a bit more subtle than the IRA notes but were meant as a political statement just the same.
