poland talar

    hi guys just got this today. As far as i know a poland talar thats about all know .
    Its 42.5 mm wide and just over 28 grams . I done the magnet test and got it checked its silver. Are they commen and any idea of value.

    Looks to be from Latvia, not Poland. My 18th century Krause is 2nd edition, and the current one is 4th edition so I don't want to give the pricing.

    your quite right about it being a latvia coin. thank you. i was useing my mobile
    phone early on. has anyone a idea of the present market price on this coin.
    and i see i spelled thaler wrong in the thread sorry about that.
    are these rare or common ..
    btw se-collectibles what does it say in the 2nd edition about them
