As a descendent of the last king of Poland I claim that all Polish coins are mine so hand them over or I'll send the Winged Hussars to come and get them. Only kidding but, I'm actually a descendent of the last king of Poland. I have a number of early Polish coins and think they're neat. That goes for some of the modern issues. The person in the picture is my GGG Grandfather. He married the daughter of the last King of Poland. He fought against the Russians with Napoleon. It didn't end well but he had at least 3 kids. Two girls and one son. The son was my grandfather's grandfather. My grandfather also fought against the Russians in WW 1. Most of the family was wiped out by Hitler and Stalin. Some are still in Poland. Sulikowski General.png

You have interesting ancestry, sir. As for me, I am a descendant of King Matthias the Great of Hungary, Bohemia and Croatia (1458-1490).

There is a lot of interesting history in that part of the world. Coins from those area's can provide a lot of information. The coins made between 1400 and 1900 were very artistic and had a lot of fine details. They make the modern coins look bad. I'm attaching a picture of the family home. The home in the picture is now a boys school. Sulikowski Castle in Rydzyna.jpg
