But they were all more than just pocket pieces, they were my flippin coins. You know what I mean, somebody says - I&#039;ll flip ya for it - well, one of those AGEs would be what came out of my pocket to flip with. And I used them as on pretty much a daily basis. Even if I wasn&#039;t one of the guys flippin for something, that coin would come out and I&#039;d let them use it.</p><p><br /></p><p>My purpose of course was precisely what you were talking about, generating interest. And there&#039;s nothing quite like a 1 oz gold coin to do that, particularly when 90% or more of the population had never even seen one let alone held one in their hand. And when they saw the coin up close, and the date on it - well their eyes got even bigger, because they had no idea that the US even produced gold coins like that in modern times. And if we were in a public place - from a construction site to a bar to the boardroom of a corporation, it didn&#039;t matter - you could bet your hat it was gonna draw a crowd pretty dang quick <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie2" alt=";)" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p>Bottom line, over the many years that I carried one of those gold coins in my pocket there were more than a few who became coin collectors as a result me carrying one of those coins.
