Pocket change find yesterday Not being a coin person but a token guy, I still look at the change every day
Other a wheatie now and then or some south of the border coinage or the Caribbean pennies and two years ago a 1963 worn out dime . Nothing but hope usually!
Heck - I brink back all my change from my Vegas trips. The last one I think I netted exactly 1 pre-1960 nickel. Good find.
The last time I went to Vegas, I came back about $5K richer. The first day there, I hit 4 slots for about $4K in a 55-minute span on a $51 investment. Chris
Now that is nice. Not to side track the thread - but what kind of slots $.25, $1? Out of all my trips I have come back a winner twice, but nothing like that. And related to this thread - there was a good 30 to 40 in change I brought back each of the last 3 or 4 trips. Mostly quarters and nickels. Seems like I always bring back a bunch of change, but no real luck on searching it. I know my father has gotten a couple of war nickels, but not me.
I save pre-'60 Jeffersons too there circus; they're worth more than face, aren't they? (apart from key dates)
Three of the machines were 5c multi-line videos playing the max bet. One machine was a 10c multi-line video playing the max bet. Chris
Huh, I used to nickel search, only kept war nickels and buffalo nickels. Found a 1913 Type I with no date.
I have no idea about what is worth more or less as I'm not a coin person I do tokens. The nickel caught my eye due to the reddish brown color as I was putting in the coin counting tray.
I do the occasional casino chips and I do collect dice. Since this has thread has gone sideways Son worked at a Detroit casino, was offered the remaining 34 pounds of cancelled special edition dice. He got them for a gag gift for my birthday! I use to make dice tricks!
