I only keep change in pocket for as long as it takes me to get home and check it for errors ;) Then its into the "bucket savings account".

I usually carry a couple of bucks worth of change, but never spend any of it. I also carry a Civil War token or two as well as an ancient. Cell phones - never did, never will. Wife and kids have them, & they can keep 'em.

I always have change in my little plastic coin holder, the kind that you squeeze and the slit down the middle opens up. I usually have a dollar or two in change, and frequently a few halves or dollar coins. I spend all my change, it's always in rotation. When I start getting weighed down by it, I usually remember to use it for exact change.

That is exactly what I do. Get home, check them, then toss them into a container until it gets full then cash them in.
