    As I don't have a good camera I'm using a phone attachment to take pics I'll try to get better pics

    Well that's great then; you're correct about not being correct about a variety that does not exist, and to top things off, are able to take photos of the coin that isn't what you say it is, yet guarantee will match the coin we still have not seen owned by the other fella... do I have this right?

    Sure, why not ... But match his reverse images to my reverse images, looks the same to me . Remember I'm stating what this thread stated and thats DDO ....

    There is no listing in the latest version of the Cherry Pickers guide at least for a DDO 1998 Quarter that I can see?
    And based off the photo it looks like strike doubling to me as there appears to be no notching and separation of the letters that's present with true doubled dies.

    Here's a an actual DDO (although a Kennedy half) but with doubling that's most apparent in the motto and you can see what notching and separation looks like. Compare it to the flatness in MD coins, even MD with a large spread still maintains that very flat appearance 74ddoset2-8.JPG .
