EBay is the best if you know what you're doing because let's face it, a $1,000 coin being listed at $1 starting bid with no reserve is pretty darn fun, but the competition is fierce and a person could get stuck over paying for something that might not infact look good in-hand. I reckon the truth of the matter is that knowledge is power, the more you know the better off you'll be.
