That's an amazing coin! I have always wanted a pattern coin, but I'd want to get one with a completely new design, like the Judd-943 coin. It'll take a while before I can afford that one though as I'm too young to legally work anywhere

I too like toned coins, but whenever I see them, they sell for a significant mark up. And I probably couldn't sell them for a profit to dealers because they always try to rip me off. They see a young teen, and think I know nothing, so they offer less than half of what the coin is actually worth. I had an MS64 Seated Liberty Dime graded by NGC, and a dealer explained to me that it is graded way too high, and said it was actually an AU55 coin! That same dealer tried to offer under melt for my BU Morgans. For now, I'm going to stick to selling on eBay. I'm currently waiting for a nice Proof Cameo Barber Half to pop up on Heritage. I want to get one for $1,800 or less, so it will take a few months before I find one with really nice eye appeal that sells for under $1,800. And I'm currently collecting coins in rattler holders and old green holders, so every time I have enough to buy a Proof Cameo Barber Half, I spend it on OGHs!
