    Gordian III Antonianus IOVI CONSERVATORI.jpg
Jove, ie. Jupiter, the top God of the Roman pantheon is in the reverse, holding a thunderbolt (just like Zeus) and an image of the Emperor in toga next to him.

    Speaking of Zeus:

    Alexander III Tetradrachm.jpg
Once you get past Alexander as Heracles (a demigod) you are greeted in the reverse with Zeus sitting on a throne, holding a sacred Eagle.

Speaking of crossover Greek to Roman Gods, how about this depiction of Mars, the God of War, with legionnaire's kit, a spear, and a bag of war booty. And if that doesn't suit you, you can gaze at the God Trajan on the obverse. After all, Emperor Trajan was deified after death.

What I would like to see is a coin that has two different religious "entities" in it...

Fulfilling this request could take the thread to page 1000! Most ancient coins depict some god, deity, mythical animal, etc.

Here's an interesting Roman deity: Venus Cloacina, goddess of the Great Sewer :)

On the reverse of this Republican denarius, below the feet of the horses, is the little known Roman rodent god, Rattus...

    image.jpeg

... okay, just kidding about the rat god. But the Hercules on the obverse is one of my favorite depictions of him on a coin :).
