Please help!!!!

I have had a hand full of foreign coins for a a while and i generally save them when i find them, but I do not really know anything about them. I know what countries most of my coins came from but I need help with this one. Can anyone offer any information on these? All input is greatly appreciated.


The obverse on the 50 is the same as the obverse on the 25

Ethiopia, 25 and 50 cents, I think both are 1977.

Looked them up on a website "worldcoingallery.com". I knew Ethiopia from that lion, from there just matched up the pics. But I believe the date is the squiggily lines below the lions head. There are guides in Krause how to translate that into our numbers, but they use a slightly different dating system than ours also.
