    Coins can be pretty darn addictive.

    My brother lives on a meager SS check every month./ He spends two thirds on lottery. He'd rather buy the ticket than buy his heart medications. The rest of us in the family gave him the nickname "lottoman".

    I don't understand the concept of everyone buying tickets when the prize gets big. Doesn't that lower your chances of winning. I'll take a mil or two anyday :)
