    Miscal, end 19th century to beginning of 20th century, Sinkiang (Xinjiang)

    No idea on rarity, value, or even whether this is genuine.
    I mainly recognized it due to the seldom occurring combination of Chinese and Arab script on the coin.

    A Sinkiang Miscal based on the weight. Even though they are generally crude strikes, I have never seen anything with script that crude and with such uneven denticles.

    The design is cartoonish to the point that it doesn't even match known types. I believe this may be a contemporary counterfeit. It has a similar appearance to a contemporary piece I have from a different province of the same period. As such I find it far more interesting than a genuine example. Nice find :)

    its made by private mint,so the chinese words is not very good
    i just checked book
