Commemorative to Hitler note?????, I will research it more. ----------------------------------------------- It is a gold certificate (five marks in gold) That is all I know for now
It is either a receipt for a donation to an early Nazi Party fundraising campaign or a voucher for a relief campaign sort of like the Winterhilfswerk notes. I suspect the latter. The use of the goldmark places it in 1923-4.
I agree, donation to the Adolf Hitler campaign. It translates to, "For the campaign to Adolph Hitler" (or something along those lines, I suck at German.
Ticket donations--Adolf Hitler's "battle money". It would have been nice if it were dated, but if he was elected in 1932, it was probably then. I only saw one other one online at a shop in Germany, and it said it had been sold--wonder if that is yours?
