I don't see anything of style or 'inscription' to suggest it is a Ancient Roman coin---perhaps a medieval coin???

I could be wrong---and more often am than I care to remember---but I doubt it is a Roman coin..... and it's so heavily worn it makes it difficult to attribute whatever it may be. I think those members heavily into medieval types will be the most help.

It has a Latin inscription. I can't discern anything else. Many countries used and still use Latin inscriptions

    chrsmat71 I LIKE TURTLES!

the style looks like a modern coin, early 19th century maybe?

I think 'chrsmat' has the time period narrowed down a bit more accurately.
