Mirror like its nice what grade did most people think it was seems like the only thing wrong is the scrtch or mark on the cheek but very nice proably an 63 or so but i would send it in too be sure the cheek is going too take some off of the grade though
Why would someone send a decent coin like this to NTC - I bet it says 67 on the holder hahahha We have yet to find that out. My rule of thumb is to remove all destracting marks in your head and grade it. Then demote a point for what destacts you. I think a 66 to start and demote it 2 points for an abrasion and a hit. MS64
It's difficult to offer a grade opinion with these photos. As stated in previous comments, NTC grading has been suspect in the in the resale market in the past, as suggested in the comment above. As for the DMPL designation , I just don't see it in these photos. Thanks for the post .
Some one just told me that the best place for grading id ngc so thats is proably were i would send it but i have heard conflicting stories of cost some say its is 30 some say 18 and others say 56 but i just got 8 off teletrade for an total of 680 and the coins were already graded but i paid some good money for some although they were some very nice coins some had grades of 66 at best.
I actually scanned these in, so it's a lot of light. I'm not sure how to get bigger pictures...these seemed pretty big to me? I can't get my camera to focus, I turn off the auto or whatever but it still wants to focus on either the coin holder or something else. Anyway, NTC graded it MS63 DMPL, but I would call it 64 myself, but it's close. A low 64
You need to adjust your camera so its on the Macro Setting. Then, when you take the photo...the camera must be perfectly still or it will be blurry.
