Plating error? PMD? Worn? Counterfeit???

    I disagree 100% look at the rims this is what a good luck penny looks like after being removed from the aluminum border.

    If you look at the rim, the heat from the dryer has cooked it off .

    If it was a good luck cent, the rim would be flatten down like the image tyler posted in post #22 .

    There were hundreds of different types of lucky tokens and the coins removed from them have many different looks. Not all the rims are flat looking. The edge image posted looks like it came from one of these holders. I'm not saying that's what it is but it's very possible.

    Exactly a dryer coin the rim would be flat. Cooked off? No Betty Crocker had nothing to do with this coin being removed from a lucky pocket piece!

    Only here is where you can you have to argue about pointless invaluable worthless damage. And the next cage we have a zebra.
