Well the Title says it all...
A while back I had to sell my notes as most of you know.

I have started to re-gather some and these are in the Transportation Theme....

Scottish Money did get my New Brunswick Albany Rail Road Note so I had to find it again..
I am one happy camper to have it back..while this note is AU+ it makes me happy for now :) :)

The $10 is a Vignette usually found on The Florida Tallahassee Rail Road Notes...I found this to be cool to find it in Red as it is usually Green.. enjoy and post those Transportation Notes..

I love those notes...especially the first one. Something about old steam engines really gets me. :)

Not much says more about transportation than this note from Russia:

Like many of my notes with trains, they also have girlies on them.

China's Bank of Communications notes included some great transportation vignettes, including this one with a train on one side and a ship on the other. I don't collect many foreign notes, but this one was hard to resist.

Russian airman.jpg Banknote-DC.JPG Series 681 25¢ front.jpg Bk of Clarendon $6.jpg There are a bazillion locomotives on banknotes and, although I'm a fan of trains, I thought I'd search my collection for some more obscure forms of transportation. There are airplanes, of course, but how about horse-drawn carriages, submarines and river rafts? ;)

It is a State Treasury Note from the USSR. Curiously the penned numbers on it appear to have been written by someone who learned to write numerals in W. Europe or N. America - Russians write numerals like 1 and 3 a bit differently.

One of my favourite African notes, again with boats, from Mali:

And another French printed note, this time from Uruguay:
