I almost considered tossing some change onto a Cosby sweater on the floor and taking a picture of it from 15 feet away...and then I decided to continue watching Homeland.
This reminds me a bit much of Jral1's threads...so many posts that don't have to do with the original coin and fail to provide any context for beneficial discussion.
It's entirely possible. But you could use some work on demonstrating evidence of doubled dies in your posts.
If you're referring to those 1992's being close AM's, not even close. The '82 doesn't look like anything either. As for all the ones you can't see, who knows.
It takes patience, Tim. The first step, as counterintuitive as it may seem, is to actually stop looking at coins for now. Do research. Know what to look for, and actually STUDY the specifics of the coin you are looking for, so if you actually come across it in your searches, there will be NO DOUBT that the coin matches. Buy books, bookmark websites, there are a lot of different ways to learn the ropes of finding rare coins before you actually start looking for them. Best of luck.
Well, if ANY newbie comes to this thread and takes my advice based on what they see the OP posts, then I would consider it successful....
Ha ha... You have a mentality similar to mine, where we just want to help someone understand the truth... ...but I feel like some people, no matter what, will see what they want to see until they arrive at the answer in their own time. Until then...it's just fun to watch the show.
