I tried to find Ed's coins but couldn't find it. I guess it is just off of the road.

I believe it was Independant coin down in Bellevue. It was a real nice shop. It is ran buy a guy and his daughter. The thing I liked about them is that the costumer service was awesome, great atmosphere. When I go visit my family in Pavillion again I will for sure return to that shop. I also crossed the boarder into Council Bluff. I couldn't find anything there as far as coin shops.

Ed's is hard to find becasue it is between Fort Crook and Galvin, which run parallel with a small strip of businesses in between them, but it is in a strip center and is sideways oriented so you can't see it from the road, it is only an okay shop. Independant coin is the shop, it is run by Barry and Rachel, that is where I get most of my coins. I have been a customer of theirs since he bought the shop from its former owner about three years ago. He runs a great place, after I moved here I tried desperately to find a good shop, but it wasn't until he opened that I found a dealer that would treat with fairness and honesty and would also haggle a bit. Now for council bluffs, you won't find many coin shops or any in the area because of the tax laws in the city I beleive. When a group was scouting for a site to open in Council Bluffs they ran into all kinds of crazy tax laws that made them give up and start looking in another area.

I won't put down anyone here, but I don't go to certain shops because of their customer service, prices, etc.

I like to find original coins as such, nobody has gotten to it yet to make it down right ugly. (dipped to death)

    Nice find.

Thanks for all of the good compliments about the coin guys. It is now housed in my Dansco 7070 next to the 1918 Lincoln, Stone Mountain and Columbus Comm.
