    eBay listing:

Ultra Rare! 1823 (?) Large Penny (I'm too stupid to say Cent).

I am not a collector, I just relieved an old lady of these coins.
    See pictures for details.
I was told that this coin was in the personal possession of Andrew Jackson on his death bed.
It is family history that he personally shot the other 1/3 of the coin with his musket.
I believe this to be true, since Mom never lied to me (except about the birds & the bees).

    Ultra rare piece of history.
    Opening Bid: $10,000
    Buy-It-Now: $1,250,000

    Postage & Handling: .41

    I'm digging it !
I'm thinking I may waive the P&H, if they use the buy it now option.

i love carrying circulated world coins and v nickels buffalo nickels mercury dimes etc all around with my 'current' coins ~ makes it very interesting to shake them out when paying w/change ~ people ask 'what are 'those...?' and i get to talk about coins. it was world coins that finally hooked me into coin collecting ~ those huge buckets of mixed coins that you could touch and hold and envision the thousands of people over hundreds of years that held those same coins ~ great stuff

Couldn't have said it better myself. That's the main reason I collect world and ancient coins. Imagining where the coin has been, and who held it.
