I would be curious to know how many Mac users have downloaded and used this ... I'm a bit leery of free downloads on a machine this expensive :)

    Best Regards,

Somebody on another forum and then this forum told me about photoscape and i love it it does a lot more than my two purchased software. I am now using it more and more. Great tutorial and yes it should be pinned to the top as a must read.

Where do I go to choose a background color? that's the part that stumped me.

What do you mean ~ background color for what? To make a background color for a cropped round object such as a coin, put the photo with the coin in edit, select the crop tab, check the crop round image box, below that line click on the background color and do it.

When you crop your original image you can choose there. If you use crop freely that is, and then check Crop Round Image. A color pull down box will open below.

is it possible to remove the backgrounds from images in this software? That would help me a whole lot.

As for all the questions of why this isn't 'pinned', I know not. Perhaps someone is worried about copyright infringement? Who the devil knows. It's my own words and my own photos so I don't know how that could be the case. Is someone out to get me? Maybe. Even paranoid people have enemies.......:)
