I've just noticed that, gosh, even my Cagayan notes
    are Countersigned with pen squiggles!:jawdrop:

My "source" of yore never mentioned it.

    ? "meta-short-snorter" ?;)

My source also gave significance to re-cut seals on Negros notes. [Pairs of same PS# but re-cut seal on one of each pair].
My source didn't mention that the numerals in the series date for at least one of the pairs [same PS#] were uneven.
Yes, images would help. It would also help if I had a brain.

And, I am persuaded after many years that "guerrilla" has two "r"s and two "l"s.

And, my Dealer from way back provided two replacement notes for the 10Peso and 100Peso 1943 Philippine JIM. Serial # starts with "1".
    No clue in Pick.
And, after 30 years I realized there are proper "full" signature countersigns on Mindanao guerrilla notes, et alia.
That dealer did me a favor. I used to wonder why I'd gotten so many.
    Now, I realize how lucky I was/am.

Of course, everyone will tell you:playful: that these ancient codices (above) are more accurate (than later catalogues) because they originate at dates closer to the actual events and are less susceptible to textual glosses, marginal notes, subsequent legends, unverified anecdotes, dubious unsworn testimonies, and revisionist historical mumbo-jumbo.
