What's this thingy then? Test / souvenir piece?

If someone could give me some more information that would be lovely, thanks.

Oh, and an approximate value to the nearest $1000 or so would be handy. :greedy: :woot:

Thanks - now I need a Denver to complete the set!

No way of dating it other than 1984-1999 I suppose?

I have forty years of mint sets in the bottom of my closet. If this blasted headcold doesn't make my face explode, I'll unpack it and see what years sets that particular token is included in later today..... Welcome to the forum.

They've been putting them in mint sets for many years. And they all look the same. I don't think anyone would give more than a penny for one.

Unfortunately, rounded to the nearest $1000 would make it $0, but that's pretty darned close.

Thank you. The first link paddyman98 posted gives the 1984-1999 dates, but I wouldn't know. They offer two - 1984 and 1991, but use the exact same picture for both.

    Can't say I'm disappointed, that's about the ballpark I was expecting. :)

Perfect! If you send me yours, and I send you mine....oh. :sorry:

Sounds like a good deal, tit for tat, I will keep mine in case someone else needs one.

I wonder if we should start looking for variations and errors in these?

So, I have a fun comment made by me (Sarcastic) and responses from a person with No Mood, a person who is Cynical and a person who is Confused. I have no idea if my fun comment was a bad idea or not. I was being sarcastic and still am.

To the nearest $1000 would make the value $1000. Congratulations.

...these are probably all identical for the entire range of years, maybe slight variations.
Somebody busted out the Mint Set to send a coin to be graded, then this bounced around loose afterward, maybe into circulation...like hidden inside a cent roll to confuse newbies (no offense) and CRHers...Spark
