Nice! I've been eyeing the one's from 2000 (far too expensive though) so if I can get one of these cheaper then great. Looks like they'll hit the ground running at $50 based on the 2 oz price. I don't even see these listed on the Perth Mint web site though.
It's official release date is 9/1. If the 1oz is $50 I'll be amazed. If silver is right here at the $40 range, I'm fully expecting $55 at minimum. I think the Perth dealers here are going to do the ATB thing and send the 1oz by the thousands to PCGS and NGC. This profit op only comes along so often, and you just know they'll take advantage of it. I'm guessing it'll be easier to buy them ungraded than graded in a very short amount of time after release. Just my opinion, your results may vary.
Gainesville is now open for presell also. The 1oz gold and silver will not be available for sale anywhere until Sept 1, to the best of my knowledge.
I'm thinking about getting on this train for a quick flip. From what I've read on other sites people are speculating a 50% mark up due to demand, this is on the 2 oz anyways. Not bad if you can get them quick and flip them.
