Perhaps my most unusual medal yet

This medal (and I am just going to assert that it is a medal as opposed to a paperweight or something else) might be the most unusual one yet. It commemorates French/Swiss protestant reformer John Calvin, engraved by Vallot and Meroz in 1909. I'll have to figure out a way to get those sticky felt pads off of it.

Anybody else have crazy shaped medals? 20241212_135859.jpg 20241212_135821.jpg 20241212_135830.jpg 20241212_135838.jpg

What are the numbers at the bottom? I can read the 1564.
Very cool medal. I haven't ever seen one either.
I will be on the look out though.

The dates are 1509-1564 (Calvin's birth and death)
