I found this 1959 D Lincoln penny 8 today in a obw and I think its has a striking errors on it Trying to figure out if it's a die clash or a strike thru error ..... whether it was struck over a foreign or domestic coin ......
Keep it simple.. Can you just point out to us where you think the error is? No not at all. Looks like a normal Cent to me.
I'm not sure what it says look inn the shoulder all the way across .... It's alot going on I thought it might day centavos or Honduras but not really sure on this one
I see nothing going with the shoulder and I am certain that is a normal cent on a normal copper planchet and not struck on a Honduras coin.
Are you referring to the VDB on the lower, left edge of the shoulder/bust? That's a nice circulation find worthy of keeping. Check the D to see if there is an RPM. I didn't see one in the photos provided (yes...keep it simple...less is more).
I think your being trolled paddyman. Here is an explanation for my analysis. 1. may have striking errors 2. may have die clash 3. may have struck thru 4. may be foreign planchet 5. 19 pics Sure has a lot going on for a perfectly nice specimen
You have a normal 1958D Lincoln cent. Sorry, I don't see any of the above 1-5 thoughts. Except the 19 blurry and way to small photos.
Clear, in focus, properly orientated, CROPPED to show just the coin, obverse and reverse, and then closeups of any questioned areas. I rapidly scrolled through all of the photos and won't waste my time on such posts.
