Peace Dollar 1922 B1 die detached branch. Vam / die crack error
Looking for insights... considering to have this graded.
Any thought if the bag mark / scratch on the front would keep this from being graded with a high grade? Thank you.

It's the B1 reverse hub. About 25% of 1922 Peace dollars were made with reverse dies that came from the B1 reverse hub. I don't see a die crack anywhere on the coin. The scrape on the cheek is pretty severe. Maybe it grades MS62, but since it's so prominent they might call it damaged. Either way, it will not get a high grade.

That's a very common place for Peace dollar obverses to develop cracks.
