There exist on the internet digital copies of this standard reference for Roman coins. They are not official copies, and the copyright holders receive no royalties. To download them and read them would be illegal. However, to go to a library and read them would be perfectly acceptable. I trust the mere posting of this fact does not warrant censorship.
I have been reporting these Ebay auctions for over a year now. I usually report them twice a week. I am sure there are sites to electronically go and download as well though. It saddens me. Coin collectors simply need to understand its this stream of revenue that allows publishers to fund future numismatic books. Without this income, (and we all hate paying money), we simply won't get future books that greatly increase our enjoyment of this hobby. Chris
