PCGS to NGC crossover. Any experience,and what was the result?

    Oh there have been times when NGC and PCGS both have gotten coins out in a month, but those are the exceptions rather than the rule. Of course it depends on the coins, the grading tier, what time of year it is, lots of things really. But I only base my comments on what I have observed and read on coin forums for the last 15 years. And in that time things have remained pretty much fairly constant.

    i sent to pcgs last three months one submission a month they are running 3~4 weeks on economy

    i just sent one to ngc n pcgs same day last week lets see how it goes both economy

    i sent in a cracked out as well hope it goes better.

    I called and harassed the nice lady who answers the phone. That got me nowhere.

    you get any updated information yet.... mine are still scheduled for grading

    2 of the 3 invoices say "Quality control" Those were the "12 working day" turnaround.
    The "21 day turnaround" says "Grading/Quality Control"

    that's a hell of a wait pcgs the last three months has kicked mine out in about a month start to.finish on economy eith shipping back to hk

    Did you ever think that maybe it's because PCGS has an office right in Hong Kong ?

    im curious your point with that as the coins still have to be shipped to the usa for grading if anything would be longer shipping international

    no they have just been faster at pcgs the last three months on economy. not sure why but im not going to complain

    actually i just got results from coins they recieved on the 6th 20 coins economy

    I think it's safe to say they lost your coins.

    Thats been my experience with ngc. Now i just submit to pcgs
