Oh there have been times when NGC and PCGS both have gotten coins out in a month, but those are the exceptions rather than the rule. Of course it depends on the coins, the grading tier, what time of year it is, lots of things really. But I only base my comments on what I have observed and read on coin forums for the last 15 years. And in that time things have remained pretty much fairly constant.
i sent to pcgs last three months one submission a month they are running 3~4 weeks on economy i just sent one to ngc n pcgs same day last week lets see how it goes both economy i sent in a cracked out as well hope it goes better.
2 of the 3 invoices say "Quality control" Those were the "12 working day" turnaround. The "21 day turnaround" says "Grading/Quality Control"
that's a hell of a wait pcgs the last three months has kicked mine out in about a month start to.finish on economy eith shipping back to hk
im curious your point with that as the coins still have to be shipped to the usa for grading if anything would be longer shipping international
no they have just been faster at pcgs the last three months on economy. not sure why but im not going to complain
