So is collecting PF69DC coins even worth it? I seem to gather that only 70dc coins are worth the time and effort. WHat about these 69 coins? Are they worth my time?
Are you talking about the silver state quarter proof 69's? If you are then I think yes it is worth your time because there will probably be less 69 silver coins than clad proof 69's so eventually they will be worth more. Right now some are selling them for cost so this is the time to buy. The 70's are too expensive for most collectors. But the 69's are still great coins and affordable. Also it will eventually become more difficult to get 70's to cover the cost of getting 69"s so they will either have to raise prices on the 69's or stop getting them graded. It may take some years but as an investment the sets will be valuable down the road in 69 or 70. If you added in all the earlier washington proofs along with those it would be a monster set to own.
