I was wondering if anyone could help with an issue. I have noticed that a small number of PCGS slabs are cracking while in storage in my safe. Typically the cracks are internal spider-web like cracks that catch the light when tilted and appear in the "bubble" where the coin is housed. The coins are stored in a cool dry place and many others do not have this issue. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to solve it?

Is it for small coins or large coins?

The size of the coin is not a factor it has been both large and small coins and different metal compositions of coin. The coins are also stored upright in PCGS boxes.

Oh, I thought this was for Spider Man silver bullion coins made by some small country. Anyway, moving along...
