This thread could be the "poster child" for what not to do. Problem is, other poster-child wanna be's don't possess two working brain cells to rub together. Sigh.

    As has been requested previously:
    1. Start your own thread. It is rude to hijack another thread. I'm sure the OP is looking for feedback and info on his question, not yours
    2. Post a pic
    3. A 1969-S Doubled Die is rare and has value.
    4. Is your coin a Doubled Die? There are some good resources where you can check to see if your coin matches a true doubled die. There are many coins that exhibit worthless doubling, so it is very unlikely that you have one. Also, you may have burned a lot of bridges here, so I would google first. (Just my opinion)

@sunday13 Sorry for interrupting your thread

    Thank you for your reply,
First of all I did purchased the red book, a magnifier, a scale etc and I am doing my best over here;research, ebay, forums and so on. It was MY decision to send this coin ( among others) and I am not getting frustrated at all, neither quitting this hobby. I made the mistake of not being part of this forum first. I learned from my mistake. Thanks for your response.

So you did sent your coins "hoping" there was something there. There was nothing there, you lost money and you learned. As simple as that; I just experienced the same. Plus, I am not getting upset or frustrated, honestly. I am actually enjoying my coffee right now, staring at some coins similar to the one I posted here while reading responses from experienced people that just want to help me out. Once again, thanks for your time.

@sunday13 , we've all made monetary mistakes in this hobby. Maybe I shouldn't speak for everyone, so I'll rephrase, I too have made monetary mistakes in this hobby. The key is to learn from them, learn from others, be open minded, be humble and have fun. Sounds like you have those areas covered well.

@JPeace$ Thank you. I appreciate it. I joined this forum to learn and all comments are welcomed, even the harsh ones. I want to learn so I won't make the same mistakes again. Now, if some people here have issues with their behavior, trust me; I am not gonna waste my energy on them. I would rather spend my energy dealing with my coins. Thank you again for your honest answer. Nice being here!
