If anyone is still reading this, I used my grandkid to help me decipher why PCGS has a 411990 "Cheerios Dollar" and when you open the item, an additional 147231 pops up. She did some research and together we determined the 147231 is the PCGS "FS-902" or "First Strike" designation. I looked it up and that is suppose to mean a coin minted in the first 30 days of minting. In the population reports, the 411990 shows the total of the FS-902 and the "Base". Therefore, I assume the "Base" must mean the Cheerio Dollars PCGS considers minted after the first 30 days.... perhaps the "non-pattern" or non-fine detailed coins??? Of course assume stands for making an ass out of u and me. I emailed PCGS for clarification. They came back and verified I am an ass.... Just kidding, still waiting for an answer. I still cannot get a perfect picture of the AU58 tailfeather details but rest assured it is one as it has been verified by a dozen or so bored family and friends. I am going to try to post a new thread on my theory of detailed and non-detailed Cheerios Dollars.
